Wayward Strand is a moving emotive narrative that is that is woven from a number of different threads. All of them take place simultaneously on an airborne hospital from the 1970s in Australia.
Wayward Strand lets you take as Casey Beaumaris, an adolescent girl who is admitted to the hospital for her first visit in a while. Over the course of three days, she will examine the story of the ship, its daily lives of the inhabitants and how they relate to one another.
The ship’s’ rooms and meet those who have a fascinating and unique lifestyle. Then, she can shadow the staff and snoop around and explore the vessel as a whole, looking to find the mysteries of its tangled time.
Residents of the hospital include unpredictably diverse with some who are delightful, while others are odd, others rude, all with their own needs dreams, ambitions and goals. They are free to do what they like, completely independent of any player’s character.
In the three days Casey is on board the vessel as she is on board, her fellow passengers live out their own stories as stories she will study. Every character acts and moves according to their own schedule. They discuss news, opinions, gossip and joking or just having a talk with Casey.
Casey is going to explore the stories of the airship’s airship, and discover how her actions have an impact on them.
