“Know by heart …” is a game about accepting losing. The music, the plot as well as the nimble gameplay and the eerie mini-games together to create the illusion of returning briefly to childhood and inevitably growing up and the sensation of being able to feel the passing of time.
The players will get to experience the tranquility in a typical provincial Russian town, where traces and remnants from the Soviet time can still be observed and heard.
Misha is the protagonist. Misha is stuck with a job that has no end. One day, he’s surprised when the girl he adored at school is back in the town. The first time since his childhood Misha is able to see a way out of the ennui of his daily existence. A short but thrilling incident in the life of the town is interspersed with the story of a gang of former friends who are reunited together. They must travel down memories roads to renew their bonds. But their past memories and even the bonds that are a part of them, turn into a risk.
